Annelise Kampschaefer
LPC-Candidate
Hi, I’m Annelise, a pre-licensed professional counselor candidate working under the supervision of Juanita Marshall, LPC-S. I know that starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, whether you’re new to it or coming back after some time away. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, carrying old wounds, or going through a big life change. Whatever brings you here, you deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns shaping your experiences and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded and connected to yourself. I’ll be here to support you every step of the way! I support teens and adults navigating trauma, mood challenges, anxiety, depression, and identity concerns. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I help you understand emotions, build coping tools, and reconnect with a grounded, empowered sense of self, at a pace that feels safe. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. It’s about taking a step forward to care for yourself. My approach is warm, trauma-informed and collaborative. I’d be honored to walk with you as you explore, heal, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that want to be seen, heard, and understood.

LPC-Candidate
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. My approach is grounded in the idea that people do the best they can with what they’ve been through, and with understanding and the right tools, change and healing are possible. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves—without judgment—and supported as they work toward meaningful growth. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including DBT, CBT, CPT, and IFS, to meet each person’s unique needs. This enables us to focus on both practical skills for managing day-to-day challenges and on deeper patterns that may be connected to past experiences. Together, we work at a pace that feels right for you. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. My goal is to help clients better understand their emotions, build healthier coping skills, and develop greater self-compassion. Therapy is a partnership, and I am here to support you as you move toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected in your life.

From the outside, life looks good — family, careers, community. But inside, it may feel like you’re running on empty: never quite good enough, short-tempered, or questioning the direction of your relationship or your own well-being. Carrying that weight alone is exhausting, but you don’t have to keep doing it this way. I work with couples and individuals who are ready to shift out of survival mode and into something stronger. Through practical tools — like effective communication, active listening, and conflict resolution — we will work towards rebuilding trust, lowering tension, and finding connection. Every story is unique, and so is the path forward. Therapy is a place where you can feel understood, supported, and guided toward the kind of relationship and life you want to build. Change is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. When you’re ready, reach out to schedule a free consultation.
